Day 1

Arrive in Cairo

Airport welcome, private transfer, hotel check-in and group orientation..

Arrive at Cairo International Airport, meet your local representative and transfer to your accommodation. Settle in and receive an introduction to Egypt’s history and the programme ahead.

Pyramids, Memphis & Saqqara

Stand before the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx while learning how these extraordinary monuments were designed and constructed. Continue to Memphis and Saqqara to explore the origins of pyramid building and Ancient Egyptian civilisation.

Museums, Mosques and Historic Cairo

Discover Egypt’s remarkable past through its collection of ancient artefacts before visiting Cairo’s historic Citadel and an important mosque. Complete the day among the traditional shops and lively streets of Khan el-Khalili Bazaar.

Departure from Cairo

Enjoy breakfast before transferring to Cairo International Airport. Depending on the flight time, there may be an opportunity for a final view of the city before beginning the journey home.
